Both the Kettler Favorit and the Kettler Kadett are well-built low-priced rowing machines that simulate water rowing and allow you to work out in the comfort of your own home.  Whilst obviously not the quality of a WaterRower or Concept2, the Kettler rowing machines are ideal for home use and will cost you a lot less money!

The Kettler Favorit and the Kettler Kadett both offer a circular rowing motion, featuring 2 hydraulic cylinders to control resistance.  Both Kettler rowing machines feature a comfortable thick padded seat combined with top grade rollers for smooth gliding along a steel track.  Both rowing machines feature biomechanically correct footplates for a natural pivoting action.

Both the Kettler Favorit and the Kettler Kadett come with a workout computer with a high-resolution LCD display monitor that displays your workout stats like time, distance, energy consumed, pulse rate (via included infrared earlobe clip sensor), strokes, frequency, scan, and recovery feature.

Both rowing machines provide a good range of resistance levels to keep your workouts challenging.  But where the two Kettler rowing machines mainly differ is in the way in which the resistance is adjusted.  The Kettler Favorit’s resistance can be adjusted by repositioning the piston’s clamps to the various knurl marks (50 knurl marks) on each rowing oar.  However, the resistance on the Kettler Kadett is altered by using adjustment knobs (with settings from 1 to 12).

Useful tip:  A 30 minute workout on a rowing machine can burn between 262-449 calories for ladies or 310-531 calories for men, depending on the intensity of the workout.

The Benefits of Weight Lifting & Resistance Training for Women

Dumbbells for Women
with a big 20% discount online<<
When you think of weight-lifting, you can’t help but imagine big men with bulging muscles, but lifting weights and resistance training isn’t just for men and doesn’t necessarily mean building bulging muscles!  For women, weight lifting and resistance training performed in a sensible way can bring a host of health benefits as well as helping to tone the body.

As we get older, women can have a tendency to:

·         Put more weight on - leading to a higher risk of developing diseases like heart disease and diabetes.
·         Develop flabby arms - the so-called “bingo wings”!
·         Lose bone density - leading to a higher risk of osteoporosis.
·         Lose joint mobility.
·         Lose muscle – between the ages of 30 and 50 you’re likely to lose around 10% of your body’s total muscle.

Weight-lifting and resistance training can help improve all of the above, providing that it is performed in a sensible way.  Medium intensity resistance training performed just 3 times a week could help improve your overall health and well-being, leading to a stronger, healthier and more confident YOU!

Solidly built for a smooth and comfortable workout, the Stamina Air Rower offers a low-impact full-body workout, helping to strengthen all the major muscles groups in the body.

The Stamina Air Rower Rowing Machine utilizes wind resistance for a smoother rowing stroke and allows the rower to determine their own level of resistance – the harder and faster you row, the greater the resistance will be.

Everything about the Stamina Air Rower is designed with comfort in mind.  The Stamina Air Rower features a comfortable upholstered padded sliding seat that glides smoothly and easily along the oversized angled seat rail.  The textured handgrips are designed to give a stable and secure grip as you row.  The large footplates come with nylon foot straps that can be easily adjusted to accommodate any user size.

The Stamina Air Rower is equipped with a multi-function electronic Performance Monitor that displays your workout stats including time, distance, speed, and calories burned.

To save space when not in use, the Stamina Air Rower’s steel frame folds and the whole machine can be easily rolled away on its built-in wheels.

Useful tip:
·       Just 30 minutes rowing on a rowing machine could burn between 262-449 calories for women or 310-531 calories for men, depending on the intensity of the rowing.
·       Rowing can help to strengthen all the major muscle groups in the body, including legs, arms, shoulders, abdominals, back, and buttocks.
