The Sole B94 is the premium model over the B74 exercise bike.  Built for more intensive use, the Sole B94 features a heavier flywheel weight compared to the B74 – the B94 has a 26 lb flywheel while the B74 has an 18 lb flywheel.  Generally speaking, the heavier the flywheel the more consistent the momentum will be.  However, most upright exercise bikes typically feature a lighter flywheel for ease of use, while a heavier flywheel is typically found on spin bikes which are used by more serious cyclists.

Both the Sole B74 and B94 come with an easy-to-use console with a blue backlit LCD screen that displays motivating workout stats as you exercise, including time, speed, distance, calories burned and heart-rate.  The screen size however differs between the 2 exercise bikes, with the Sole B94 having a larger screen at 9” compared to the Sole B74’s smaller 7.5” screen.

The consoles on both the Sole B74 and B94 include premium features like a built-in fan to keep you cool and an MP3 compatible sound system so you can listen to your favorite music as you cycle.  Both also feature a conveniently placed water bottle holder at the base of the console so you can easily keep hydrated as you cycle.

The Sole B74 and Sole B94 exercise bikes both feature a comfortable seat that is fully adjustable, i.e. it adjusts both up/down and fore/aft for a custom fit for different user heights.  The over-sized pedals on both bikes are ergonomically designed with a 2 degree inward cant to help reduce strain on feet and knees.

The Sole B74 and Sole B94 exercise bikes are built for long-lasting durability with a strong heavy-duty steel frame.  The premium Sole B94 offers a slightly higher user weight capacity than the B74.  The B94 allows for users weighing up to 325 lbs while the B74 allows for up to 290 lbs.

Fitness tip:  Cycling for just 30 minutes could burn between 207-345 calories for women, or 252-420 calories for men, depending on the intensity of the cycling.

The Bowflex TC200 is the premium model over the TC100, but both TreadClimbers work in the same way, combining the motions of a treadmill, stair climber and elliptical trainer in 1 machine:

You walk forward on 2 treadles with moving belts (like a treadmill)

As you move forward, you step up (like a stair climber)

With each step, the treadles rise to meet your feet (like an elliptical)

The Bowflex TC100 and TC200 TreadClimbers are suitable for people of all ages and fitness levels.  They’re both straightforward and easy to use and offer variable speed control so you can work out at your own pace and progress in your own time.  There’s a slight difference in the maximum speed between the two TreadClimbers, with the TC100 allowing for speeds up to 4 mph while the TC200 allows for speeds up to 4.5 mph.

For variety and challenge, the Bowflex TreadClimber TC100 features 4 free Motion Traxx guided workouts, while the TC200 features 5 programs for Just Walk, Calorie Goal, Time Goal, Distance Goal, and Interval.

In addition, the Bowflex TC200 TreadClimber features integrated Bluetooth Connectivity which the TC100 doesn’t have.  The TC200’s Bluetooth technology combined with the free TreadClimber app allows you to set, monitor and track your personal fitness goals online as well as having access to Bowflex’s online community with free trainer tips and diet advice.  You can also connect to My Fitness Pal, Google Fit, Apple Health Kit and Bowflex Connect.

Stats displayed are fairly accurate as you are able to input data for gender, year of birth, and weight of user.  The Bowflex TC100 allows for 2 different user profiles, while the TC200 allows for 4 different user profiles.

Both TreadClimbers feature pulse grip heart-rate monitors in the handlebars, but the TC200 is also compatible with a heart-rate chest-strap (included) and features a unique Heart Rate Zone Light Bar that tracks your heart-rate across 4 different zones for warm up, fat burn, cardio, and performance.

Additional features incorporated into both the Bowflex TC100 and TC200 TreadClimber’s consoles include a USB charging port, a media shelf to hold your mobile phone, tablet or music player, and water bottle holders.

The Bowflex TreadClimber TC100 and TC200 are solidly built for long-lasting durability and both accommodate a user weight capacity of up to 300 lbs.

There’s a slight difference in the overall dimensions between the 2 TreadClimbers, with the TC100 being slightly longer in length as it has the addition of a Rear Machine Step Platform which the TC200 does not have, but the TC200 has slightly longer treadles.  Both TreadClimbers have a smaller footprint (see specifications below) than a treadmill or elliptical trainer making them easier to fit into a smaller space in your home.

Useful Tip:  Just a 30 minute workout on a TreadClimber could burn up to 423 calories (based on 3.0 mph on Maximum Treadle Setting).

Simulating a true road-bike feel in the comfort of your own home, the Sunny Health & Fitness SF-B901B Pro and SF-B1002 Indoor Cycle Spin Bikes utilize a belt-drive system for a smoother and quieter ride over a chain-drive bike.

The Sunny Health & Fitness SF-B901B has a slightly-lower price tag than the SF-B1002, mainly due to the fact that it has a lighter flywheel compared to the SF-B1002.  Both flywheels are still considered to be heavy-weight and impressive to find on spin bikes at this price point, but the SF-B901B’s flywheel is 40 lbs compared to 49 lbs for the SF-B1002.  A heavy flywheel on a spin bike is important because it is better at producing smoother consistent momentum than a lighter one.

Both the Sunny SF-B901B Pro and SF-B1002 Indoor Cycles are solidly built with a heavy-duty steel frame for stability and long-lasting durability, supporting a maximum user weight capacity of up to 275 lbs.  Both bikes are sturdy enough so you can sit or stand to cycle as you would with a traditional road-bike to simulate riding on different terrain like flats and hills.

You can adjust the intensity of your cycling workout with both of these Sunny spin bikes, as each has an adjustable resistance and push-down braking system.  There is however a difference in the design of these systems between the 2 bikes – the Sunny SF-B901B has an adjustable tension-knob with a push-down brake lever, whereas the Sunny SF-B1002 push-down brake is incorporated into the adjustable tension-knob.  Both systems are easy-to-use and give you total control over the intensity of your cycling workout.

Both the Sunny Health & Fitness SF-B901B Pro and SF-B1002 Indoor Cycles are fully adjustable for a custom fit to suit a wide range of riders – the saddle can be adjusted both up/down and fore/aft, while the racing-style handlebars can be adjusted up/down.

Both rowing machines feature a Spiral Damper that easily allows you adjust the airflow to the flywheel, enabling you to change the feel of the stroke to suit your own preferences.  The flywheel itself is designed to minimize noise whilst still maximizing a smooth feel.

Both the Concept2 Model E and D rowing machines feature an aluminium monorail and stainless steel track which allows for smooth gliding of the seat.  Both rowing machines feature adjustable foot-rests and an ergonomic handle for natural arm and hand positions.

Both rowing machines are low maintenance, featuring a nickel-plated chain which allows for longer periods between oiling.

The main difference between the Concept2 Model E and Concept2 Model D Indoor Rowing Machines is in the seat height.  The Concept2 Model E seat is higher off the ground than the Model D rowing machine, with the Model E seat being 20” high, whilst the Model D is 14” high.  The higher seat of the Model E makes it easier to get on and off the rowing machine.

The Concept2 Model E is also considered to be more of a solid stable rowing machine over the Model D.  This is due to the design of the legs of the machine – the Model E features one-piece leg design for the front and rear of the machine, whereas the Model D features 2-piece leg design.

There’s so much more to these rowing machines!  Let’s take a look at the features and differences in detail between the Concept2 Model E and Concept2 Model D Indoor Rowing Machines to help you decide which one is best for you:
