The Schwinn MY16 130 and Schwinn 170 are both well-built Upright Exercise Bikes that are packed with features to keep your workouts varied and progressively challenging.  Both bikes utilize a high-speed high-inertia perimeter weighted flywheel together with ECB resistance to give you a smooth and quiet workout.

The Schwinn 170 Upright Exercise Bike is the higher-end model over the Schwinn MY16 130 and offers more ECB resistance levels (25 compared to 20) and more preset programs (29 compared to 22).

Being the higher-end bike, the Schwinn 170 is constructed for more heavy-duty use and as such has some premium features over the MY16 130, including an upgraded crank system (3-piece compared to 1-piece) and over-sized pedals compared to standard pedals.

Both of the Schwinn upright bikes feature angle adjustable handlebars, but the Schwinn 170 also features forearm rests for added comfort.

The seat on both bikes is contoured and padded for comfort with an easy seat-exchange system.  Both seats are adjustable up/down for different user heights, but the Schwinn 170 has the advantage of also being adjustable fore/aft for a more custom fit.

The Schwinn MY16 130 and Schwinn 170 exercise bikes come with a differently designed console.  The Schwinn MY16 130’s console has been newly designed for ease of use yet is still packed with the same features from the previous version.  Both consoles feature Dual Track LCD displays but the Schwinn 170 has the advantage of being blue-backlit for better viewing.

Both consoles display motivating workout stats as you exercise and offer performance tracking with Goal Tracker.  Both consoles offer USB connection with a USB charging port and data export to Schwinn Connect and My Fitness Pal for online tracking.  The Schwinn 170 allows for more different user profiles than the Schwinn MY16 130 (4 compared to 2).

Both the Schwinn MY16 130 and Schwinn 170 feature pulse grip heart-rate sensors in the handlebars to help you keep within your target heart-rate zone.  The Schwinn 170 also offers telemetry-enabled heart-rate monitoring (wireless chest heart-rate strap available separately).

Additional features on both the Schwinn MY16 130 and Schwinn 170 include acoustic chamber speakers with MP3 input, media shelf, 3-speed cooling fan, and water bottle holder.

The Schwinn MY16 130 and Schwinn 170 exercise bikes are both well-constructed with 2 integrated levelers for added stability and support a maximum user weight capacity of up to 300 lbs.  Both bikes come with transportation wheels for easy relocation.
