The Assault AirBike Elite is the up-graded model of the original AirBike Classic, and as such offers several improvements in design, features and specifications including:  a new monitor with an improved LCD screen, Comp Mode, Rest and Work LEDs; an integrated removable windshield (the AirBike Classic does not come with a windshield although you can purchase one separately); multiple position handgrips on its moving handlebars (the AirBike Classic has single handgrips); an ISIS splined crank system (compared to the Classic’s square-tapered crank system); an enhanced commercial steel frame.

The Assault AirBike Elite is also slightly bigger and heavier than the original AirBike Classic and supports a higher user weight capacity of 350 lbs compared to 300 lbs on the Classic.  (See full features and specifications compared in the tables below.)

The Assault AirBike Elite and Classic come with different fitness monitors but both offer a variety of programs including HIIT intervals and target programs for time, distance, calories and heart rate.  Both consoles display motivating workout stats such as time, speed, distance, RPM, Watts, calories and heart-rate.

The consoles on the Assault AirBikes both offer Bluetooth connectivity and are compatible with a wireless chest heart-rate strap for accurate heart-rate monitoring which helps you to stay within your target heart-rate zone as you exercise.

The Assault AirBike Elite comes with a wider sports saddle compared to the Classic but both seats are fully adjustable, i.e. up, down, forwards and backwards for a custom fit for different users.

Additional features on both the Assault AirBike Elite and Classic include:  mobile phone holder integrated into console; all-metal design pedals that can be operated forwards or backwards; stationary footrest pegs to isolate an upper body workout; sealed cartridge bearings in pivot/moving parts for long-lasting durability; chain drive for an authentic feel; steel frame; corrosion resistant design; and front-mounted transport wheels for easy relocation.

Both the Assault AirBike Elite and Classic are self-powered so you don’t have to worry about finding a space near a power socket.  (The LCD monitor operates on 2x AA batteries, included.)

Reflecting the high-quality and long-lasting durability of these air fan exercise bikes, both the Assault AirBike Elite and Classic come with a commercial warranty, although the warranty differs between the two bikes (see details for each indicated in the tables below).

See what some customers who have purchased either the Assault AirBike Elite or Assault AirBike Classic have to say about it:

C.W.:
“The Assault AirBike Classic was easy to put together.  It gives a great workout and doesn’t take up a lot of space.  Worth its weight in gold!”

H.T.:
“The AirBike Classic is a quality bike and has met all my expectations.  Only thing for me is the seat could be a little bigger.”

A.R.:
“I spent weeks researching air exercise bikes before deciding on the Assault Classic after seeing many positive reviews.  It took around 30 minutes to put it together and once I’d assembled it I knew it was worth every penny.  It’s a very solid heavy bike but is surprisingly easy to move with the front wheels.  It doesn’t take up much space in my apartment which is important to me.  The health benefits of using this air bike are outstanding – I can feel every major muscle group being engaged when using this bike, most notably the quads, calves, delts, lats, obliques and pecs.  I’m an asthmatic and this bike has also helped to improve my ability to breathe. I use this daily for 15 minutes, 20 mph, and have achieved a constantly super tight core because of it.  Thoroughly impressed!”

R.O.:
“The Assault AirBike Elite is a professional exercise air resistance bike and well designed.  It was fairly easy to assemble but does take time, maybe one or two hours.  You can tell the quality of this bike as you assemble it because everything fits as it should without having to fudge or squeeze parts together to make it work.  Once assembled, the monitor should already be on – it will go dark if it’s been sitting idle for a while and will reactivate once you start pedaling.  The movement of the arms and pedals work in tandem and when you start pedaling you can feel the power of this machine.  Personally, I feel the monitor is the cheapest aspect of this bike – it has simple buttons and a black and white display – I would have liked a monitor that was a little more advanced for the money – I  know you don’t even need a monitor to exercise but a better one would make the design more stylish and modern.  The bike comes with instructions for basic use and maintenance, although there’s no suggestion of a program for exercise so you’re on your own. There’s a button for Bluetooth which is kinda lost on me as I couldn’t find an app to sync to my phone.  Overall, this is a great bike, very well built and gives you a bonafide workout – you’ll be surprised how much it takes out of you in such a short time.”

N.B.  It’s advisable to consult your doctor or health care professional if you are new to exercise or if you have any concerns regarding your health and fitness regime.
