The Sole E55 Elliptical Trainer offers all the high-end features typically found on commercial elliptical trainers but in a more compact design for smaller spaces.

The Sole E55 measures around 12" shorter in length and 5" narrower in width than the Sole E95 for example.

The Sole E55 Elliptical Trainer front drive system utilizes a heavy 25 lb flywheel combined with a high gear ratio to give you an extremely smooth and natural fluid motion, coupled with a whisper quiet drive system.

The Sole E55 features a 9” blue-backlit LCD display and offers 10 workout programs and plenty of ECB resistance with a Power Adjustable Incline of 0-40 degrees for additional resistance and variable positions to add diversity to your workouts.  The Power Incline helps to target areas of the lower body that wouldn’t get worked on traditional elliptical trainers.  The incline and resistance controls can be operated via the console or via the convenient to use controls built into the moving handlebars.  The Sole E55 can be operated in both forward and reverse motion.

With its dual handlebars, the Sole E55 enables you to work both the upper and lower body at the same time with its moving handlebars or just the lower body by holding onto the static handlebars.

For the heart-rate interactive workout programs, the Sole E55’s stationary handlebars have built-in pulse sensors to monitor your heart rate or you can use the included chest-strap for hands-free monitoring.

The Sole E55 offers a 20” stride length coupled with 15” pedal size and 10-position foot pedal adjustment.  The Sole E55 incorporates Sole’s unique custom designed foot pedals.  These ergonomic foot pedals have been designed with a 2 degree inward slope which helps to reduce ankle and knee stress.  The foot pedals are also articulating so that they fit the way you walk (as not everybody walks the same way) to help reduce Achilles tendons soreness and numb toe effect.  The Sole E55’s foot pedals have been designed in collaboration with a leading physical therapist and sports enthusiast to reduce the bodily stresses commonly associated with commercial elliptical trainers and to bring you the most comfortable workout possible.

Additional high-end features of the Sole E55 Elliptical Trainer include built-in speakers with MP3/iPod connectivity so you can listen to your music while you exercise and there’s a built-in fan to help keep you cool while you workout.

Useful tip:  Working out for just 30 minutes on an elliptical trainer could burn approx. 310 calories for women or 378 calories for men, depending on the intensity of your workout.

Sole E55 Elliptical Trainer

See what other customers who have bought the Sole E55 Elliptical Trainer have to say about it:

G.S.:
“I’m perfectly happy with the Sole E55.  I chose this machine over the E35 as I don’t have a big space and this is around a foot shorter than the E35.  I assembled most of this by myself and it went together with no problems, just needed a second pair of hands for the mast.  Did take a few hours though for assembling.  This elliptical trainer is quiet, stable and sturdy in operation.”

A.C.:
“As long as you follow the instructions correctly for assembly and lube all the components as directed, then it’s quite straightforward to put the Sole E55 together.  The machine did initially have a slight squeak, but once I identified the area and lubed it, the noise disappeared.  The machine itself is awesome!  I love the programs and they’re easy to use and the resistance works as expected.  I wasn’t sure how effective the rear incline would be compared to the usual front incline, but having tried it, it is awesome!  Overall, the Sole E55 is easy to use and well worth the money.”
