The LifeSpan E2i and E3i both offer a 20” stride length and an ergonomic Q-factor for comfortable, smooth and quiet motion.

Both the E2i and E3i Elliptical Trainers feature LifeSpan’s exclusive CoreBalance technology which identifies any imbalances in your strides via sensors integrated into the pedals which detect the amount of force from each leg and then relays the data to the console display.  This unique technology helps you to ensure equal distribution of efforts throughout.

So just how do the LifeSpan E2i and E3i elliptical trainers differ?  To begin with, the Lifespan E3i is the higher-end model and as you would expect for a flagship model retails at a higher price, so just what are you getting for your money and is it worth paying out extra for?

The main differences between the LifeSpan E2i and E3i include differences in the weight of the flywheel, the size of the console screen, handlebar controls.  The LifeSpan E3i has a 34 lb flywheel compared to the E2i’s 25 lb flywheel (generally speaking, the higher the flywheel weight, the more consistent the momentum will be).  Both machines have a blue backlit display but the E3i’s screen is 7.5” while the E2i’s screen is a little smaller at 6”.  The LifeSpan E3i has ramp and resistance toggle buttons built into the stationary handlebars which the E2i does not have.

Both the LifeSpan E2i and E3i offer Bluetooth capability so you can sync your workout data to your smartphone.  In addition, both elliptical trainers feature a sound system with audio-in and dual speakers so you can listen to your music as your exercise.
