For such a low price, the Xterra Fitness FB150 and FB350 Folding Exercise Bikes are surprisingly well-built, sturdy and quiet in operation, and with a nice compact design that won’t take up much valued space in your home.

As you can see from the pictures, the main difference between the Xterra Fitness FB150 and FB350 Exercise Bikes comes down to the design of the seat – the FB350’s seat features a lower backrest along with handles by the side of the seat which the FB150 doesn’t have.  This enables you to use the bike in a semi-recumbent position for a more laid-back feel or you can sit upright and hold onto the handlebars around the console as with the FB150 for a more traditional cycling experience.

Other differences between the Xterra Fitness FB150 and FB350 Exercise Bikes include a slight difference in overall dimensions and weight of the bike, with the FB150 having a slightly smaller footprint and weighing slightly less than the FB350 (see full dimensions listed in the table below).

The Xterra FB350 also has the addition of a handy accessory holder mounted on the frame which the FB150 does not have.

Apart from the different features mentioned above, the rest of the Xterra Fitness FB150 and FB350’s features are exactly the same.  Both exercise bikes are straightforward and easy to use with the same console and drivetrain.

Both the Xterra Fitness FB150 and FB350 Folding Exercise Bikes’ drivetrain utilize a 3.3 lb precision balanced flywheel, smooth belt drive system and quiet friction-free magnetic resistance.

Both the Xterra FB150 and FB350 exercise bikes offer a good range of 8 levels of magnetic resistance which is easily adjustable via a simple-to-use turn dial knob located on the frame in front of you underneath the console.  You are in total control of your workout – start off at a low setting and increase the intensity when you feel ready to keep challenging yourself.

As previously mentioned, the Xterra Fitness FB150 and FB350 Exercise Bikes both utilize the same console.  The console is battery operated (no need to find a space near a wall socket/power outlet to place your bike!) and features a 2” x 1” LCD screen that clearly displays motivating workout stats as you cycle including time, speed, distance, calories burned and heart rate.  Your heart-rate is measured via pulse grip sensors built into the handlebars each side of the console.

Comfort features on both the Xterra Fitness FB150 and FB350 Exercise Bikes include a large padded seat and padded handlebars.  The handlebars around the console offer multi-grip positions for different hand placement and the seat on both bikes is adjustable for different user heights ranging from around 4ft 10” up to 5ft 10” tall.

Both the Xterra Fitness FB150 and FB350 Exercise Bikes feature non-slip pedals and adjustable foot straps for safety.  Both bikes also utilize a 3-piece pedal crank system for added durability.

Both the Xterra Fitness FB150 and FB350 Exercise Bikes feature an x-frame folding design to help save even more space when not in use.  The FB150 folds to a slightly smaller footprint than the FB350 - 18.1 x 18.1” for the FB150 compared to 20.5 x 21” for the FB350 folded.  Both bikes also feature front-mounted transport wheels for ease of relocation.

Xterra TR150 versus TR300 Treadmill, Comparison Review

Both the Xterra TR150 and TR300 Treadmills offer great value for money and are ideal for keeping fit in the comfort of your own home.

The Xterra Fitness TR300 is the higher-end treadmill over the TR300, offering extra features along with a more durable design and larger footprint, making it suitable for heavier use and a longer stride length, whereas the entry-level TR150 takes up less space and is ideal for beginners.

The Xterra TR300’s running deck measures a generous 55” long by 20” wide compared to the smaller TR150’s running deck of 50” long by 16”.  Both treadmill decks feature XTRAsoft cushioning to absorb the impact for a more comfortable workout.  The TR300 features a more heavy-duty 2.0-ply Duraweave belt compared to the TR150’s 1-ply belt.

Both the Xterra Fitness TR150 and TR300 electric-powered Treadmills utilize a high-torque 2.5 HP motor and offer speeds up to 10 mph, allowing you to walk, jog or run at your own pace.

Both treadmills offer incline options for additional challenge, but the TR150 is manually operated (i.e. you have to stop your workout to manually adjust the incline) and only offers 3 low incline settings of 0.5%, 1% or 2%, whereas the TR300 offers 10 incline levels which are electronically controlled at a touch of a button either on the console or on the handrails.

To keep your workouts varied, the Xterra TR150 and TR300 Treadmills offer a range of preset programs, with the TR300 offering twice as many as the TR150 – 24 programs on the TR300 compared to 12 programs on the TR150, along with a Manual option so you can just get on and get going!

The Xterra TR300 Treadmill’s console is more advanced than the TR150 – it features a 5.5” blue backlit LCD display screen for easy viewing compared to the TR150’s 5” LCD display that isn’t backlit.  Both the TR300 and TR150 display motivating workout stats as you exercise including time, speed, distance, calories burned and pulse heart-rate.

Your pulse heart-rate is measured by both Xterra treadmills via the hand pulse grip sensors built into the handrails.  The TR300 also has the addition of remote control buttons in the handrails for quick adjusting of speed and incline levels which the TR150 doesn’t have.

Additional features on both the Xterra TR150 and TR300 treadmills’ console include an integrated media tray, two accessory holders and a safety key.  Extra features included on the Xterra TR300’s console that the TR150 does not have include a sound system (audio jack and speakers) and a cooling fan.

Both the Xterra Fitness TR150 and TR300 treadmills feature a folding deck design to help save space when not in use.  However, the design of the folding deck system differs between the two treadmills – the TR150’s deck has to be manually folded, while the TR300’s deck features Lift Assist and Soft Drop for safe and easy folding and lowering of the deck.

Both the Xterra TR150 and TR300 treadmills are sturdily constructed.  But with its more durable build and larger footprint (see full dimensions listed in the table below), the Xterra TR300 offers a slightly higher user weight capacity of up to 300 lbs compared to the TR150’s 250 lbs user weight limit.

For peace of mind, both Xterra Fitness Treadmills come with a generous manufacturer’s warranty but as you would expect, the warranty differs between the entry-level TR150 and the higher-classed TR300 (see full details listed in the comparison table below).

Let’s take a glance at the main differences and similarities between the Xterra TR150 and TR300’s features and specifications laid out in the easy to read table below to help you decide on which is the best treadmill for you:
