The Spinner S5 and Spinner S3 spin bikes utilize a friction resistance system which is easily adjustable via a micro-adjustable turn knob. Both spin bikes feature an easy-to-use push-down emergency brake with leather pad which is more durable than traditional felt pads used in spin bikes.
An additional comfort feature on both the Spinner S5 and S3 indoor cycles is their narrow Q-factor of 147 mm (distance between the pedals) which is close to a true road bike and offers a more natural pedaling motion which is easier on your knees.
The pedals on the Spinner S5 are dual sided for toe cage or SPD compatibility while the Spinner S3 has toe cage pedals only. However, the pedals on both bikes have standard threads so can easily be swapped out for pedals of your own choice if required.
