Inspire Fitness M3 versus M2 Home Gym Multi-Gym, Comparison Review

The Inspire Fitness M3 and M2 Home Gyms are highly functional and well-built multi-gyms suitable for both home and light-commercial use.

The Inspire Fitness M3 and M2 Home Gyms offer the ability to perform a wide range of strength training exercises, enabling you to tone and strengthen your abs, chest, shoulders, back, arms and legs. (See the chart below for a sample of suggested exercises.)

The Inspire Fitness M3 is the higher-end home gym over the M2 and for the extra money you get a heavier weight stack (210 lb compared to 160 lb), a commercial-quality abdominal crunch station built into the head pad, iso-lateral press and lat stations, plus a patented dual back pad that is tilt adjustable.  (See full features and specifications compared in the tables below.)

However, both the Inspire Fitness M3 and M2 multi-gyms are extremely well constructed with heavy-duty 2” x 4” oval and 3” round commercial 11 gauge tubular steel frame.  Both home gyms feature a commercial weight stack (compact, single stack, forward design) with solid guide rods and center drilled weights.

To ensure durability and smooth fluid motion, both the Inspire Fitness M3 and M2 utilize precision ball bearings in the bench press pivot and press arm pivot points.

Both the Inspire Fitness M3 and M2 multi-gyms utilize 2000 lb tensile strength cables and nylon pulleys for long-lasting durability.  Additional features on both the M3 and M2 include strap handles with revolving grips, ankle strap, and a leg extension/curl station with aluminum revolving easy curl bar.  The M2 also features a 48” aluminum revolving lat bar and press row handles.

Both the Inspire Fitness M3 and M2 Home Gyms come with orthopedic seat pads on the bench for maximum comfort.  The seat pads are color co-ordinated with the mesh weight stack shroud and are available in a choice of tan, burgundy, blue or black colors.

Optional extras (available separately) that are compatible with both the M3 and M2 multi-gyms include a Leg Press and Abdominal Bar.  In addition, the M2 can also be upgraded to a 200 lb weight stack system.

Fitness tip:  Your body continues to burn calories even after you’ve completed a body weight resistance workout thanks to the afterburn effect of increased metabolism.

Let’s take a closer look at the main differences and similarities in features and specifications between the Inspire Fitness M3 versus M2 to help you decide on which is the best home gym for you:
