So how do you decide between either the LifeSpan Fitness TR4000i or the LifeSpan Fitness TR3000i Folding Treadmills?  To begin with, the LifeSpan Fitness TR4000i retails online at around $200 more than the LifeSpan Fitness TR3000i.  So what extras are you getting for your money and is it worth paying out the extra cash for?

Basically, the LifeSpan Fitness TR4000i has a heavier duty motor compared to the TR3000i (3.25 versus 2.75 hp), together with a commercial-grade deck, making it suitable for more intensive use.  It also has a slightly longer running surface (4” longer) than the TR3000i treadmill, making it more suitable for taller people with a longer stride.

Both the LifeSpan TR4000i and TR3000i Treadmills offer a speed range of between 0.5 up to 12 mph and feature a great range of 17 pre-set workout programs, 15 incline levels, heart-rate monitoring, and online fitness tracking.  Both treadmills feature Quick Start and integrated speed and incline controls in the handlebars for ease of operation.

The LifeSpan TR4000i and TR3000i's consoles feature a blue-backlit LCD display and shows motivating workout stats including time, speed, distance, step-count, calories burned and heart rate.

Additional premium features on both the LifeSpan TR4000i and TR3000i treadmills include integrated speakers and iPod compatibility, and a media/book rack so you can keep entertained as you exercise.
