Merit Fitness 715T Treadmill versus Merit Fitness 725T Treadmill, What's the Difference?

Treadmills are a great way to exercise in the comfort of your own home, especially during the cold and wet winter months when it’s really not nice walking outdoors in all weathers. If you don’t like the idea of going to the gym but still want to keep fit, then a home treadmill is ideal. Walking has long been considered one of the best cardiovascular exercises you can do, has low-impact on the body, and is suitable for people of all ages at any fitness level.

There are many different treadmills on the market today, some of which are comparable to the high-end treadmills you can find in the gym, but cost the earth.  If you’re looking for a cheaper home treadmill then the Merit Fitness range may well fit the bill. Their two most popular models are the Merit Fitness 715T Treadmill and the Merit Fitness 725T Treadmill.

The Stamina AeroPilates Reformer with Free-Form Cardio Rebounder offers an amazing low-impact cardiovascular workout to help lengthen and strengthen the entire body.

The Stamina AeroPilates enables the user to combine Pilates exercises with cardiovascular fitness without the impact on their back and joints that more traditional exercise machines can give.  This is due to the fact that you are lying on your back while performing these aerobic Pilates exercises.

The Stamina AeroPilates Reformer gives a great workout, enabling the user to reach their target heart rate as effectively as they would when using a treadmill, but with the obvious benefits of much less impact on their joints.

The Stamina AeroPilates Reformer with Free-Form Cardio Rebounder has 4 heavy duty elastic cords providing the user with 4 levels of workout resistance.  Unlike some other Reformers, the AeroPilates Reformer is elevated by about 10 inches to enable the user to perform more advanced exercises.  This allows for over 50 different exercises the user can do to help lengthen, strengthen, tone and shape the entire body.

Adjustable ropes, straps and handgrips make this AeroPilates Reformer suitable for any user.  The Rebounder adds extra cushion to an aerobic Pilates workout and is similar to jumping on a trampoline, unlike some other Pilates machines that have a padded wooden jump-board.   This Reformer also features an adjustable headrest and oversized high-density foam shoulder pads for extra comfort and support.  The rollers and gliders operate quietly and very smoothly, giving a safe, stable workout.

Two workout videos and a color workout wall chart are included with this Stamina AeroPilates Reformer, enabling you to get started quickly and easily,or alternatively you can customize your own aerobic Pilates workouts.

Counting How Many Calories Does Exercise Burn?

Here’s a list of exercises and how many calories they burn, depending on the amount of time spent performing them. Being physically active doesn’t necessarily mean having to sweat it out at the gym – you’ll be surprised how many calories you can burn performing everyday activities such as housework or gardening.  Besides the obvious benefits of exercising to burn calories (losing weight and improving the way you look), being physically more active also helps to boost your mood and helps to relieve stress.  Couple exercising with healthy eating, and you will not only help to control your weight, but you will help to reduce your risk of getting a variety of diseases such as diabetes and heart disease.

Workout with Low-Impact Exercises to Get Fit and Burn Calories

Low-impact exercises can prove to be a very effective way of getting fit and burning calories, without the risk of injury that comes with the more higher-impact workouts.  Low-impact exercises are much easier on the joints and are therefore less likely to cause impact-type injuries more common with high-impact workouts (such as sprains and tears to joints and cartilage).

Low-impact exercising can help to improve your overall health, lower the risk of heart disease, tone up the body, and burn calories.
