Both the Sunny Health & Fitness SF-B1714 and SF-B1712 Indoor Cycles offer adjustable resistance so you can adjust the intensity of your workout via an easy-to-use turn-knob which doubles as an emergency push-down brake.  However, the resistance knob differs between the two bikes, with the SF-B1714 utilizing magnetic resistance while the SF-B1712 utilizes felt-pad resistance.

Both the Sunny Health & Fitness SF-B1714 and SF-B1712 Indoor Cycling Bikes are fully adjustable for a custom fit with 4-way adjustable handlebars and saddle (adjusts up, down, forwards, backwards).  The handlebar’s multi-grip position design allows for different hand placement which is ideal for engaging different muscles as you switch between sitting and standing cycling.

Although both of these spin bikes are fully adjustable, their rider height compatibility differs slightly, with the SF-B1714 being suitable for an inseam height range of between 30.1” and 38.3” while the SF-B1712 is suitable for an inseam height range from 29.5” up to 37”.

Additional features on both the Sunny Health & Fitness SF-B1714 and SF-B1712 Indoor Cycle Spin Bikes include a padded saddle, side-mounted water bottle holder, front-mounted transport wheels for easy relocation, and adjustable floor levellers for added stability.

Both the Sunny indoor cycles are sturdily constructed but the SF-B1714 is designed to be more heavy-duty and offers a higher use weight capacity of up to 330 lbs compared to the SF-B1712’s maximum 265 lbs user weight capacity.

Fitness tip:  Cycling for just 30 minutes could burn between 207-345 calories for women, or 252-420 calories for men, depending on the intensity of the cycling.
