Both the Sunny Health & Fitness SF-B1714 and SF-B1712 Indoor Cycles offer adjustable resistance so you can adjust the intensity of your workout via an easy-to-use turn-knob which doubles as an emergency push-down brake.  However, the resistance knob differs between the two bikes, with the SF-B1714 utilizing magnetic resistance while the SF-B1712 utilizes felt-pad resistance.

Both the Sunny Health & Fitness SF-B1714 and SF-B1712 Indoor Cycling Bikes are fully adjustable for a custom fit with 4-way adjustable handlebars and saddle (adjusts up, down, forwards, backwards).  The handlebar’s multi-grip position design allows for different hand placement which is ideal for engaging different muscles as you switch between sitting and standing cycling.

Although both of these spin bikes are fully adjustable, their rider height compatibility differs slightly, with the SF-B1714 being suitable for an inseam height range of between 30.1” and 38.3” while the SF-B1712 is suitable for an inseam height range from 29.5” up to 37”.

See what some customers who have bought either the Sunny Health & Fitness SF-B1714 or SF-B1712 Indoor Cycle Spin Bike have to say about them:

J.J.:
“The Sunny SF-B1714 is definitely a heavy-duty spin bike.  It’s good quality with nice styling.  I would definitely recommend it.”

C.L.:
“The Sunny Health & Fitness SF-B1714 is a great buy for the money.  It’s the best purchase to date I’ve made.  It offers a very smooth ride and works quietly.  I now workout solely on this and no longer use my noisy treadmill!  If you’re in the market for a spin bike, this is the one to buy in my opinion.”

T.W.:
“The SF-B1714 is worth every penny.  I didn’t want to spend the money on a peleton so I purchased this bike and use the peleton app.  It was easy to assemble and is comfy to use.  I just need to find a reliable cadence/speed tracker as it doesn’t come with one which is the only downside but for the money I saved overall I am very satisfied.”

S.L.:
“I love my Sunny SF-B1712.  I researched for weeks before buying this bike.  I wanted an exercise bike that got the job done, no frills.  I use this bike with the Cyclecast app.  The bike itself was easy to assemble – I put it together myself in under 30 minutes.  I would highly recommend it.”

A.M.:
“The SF-B1712 was easy to assemble, took around just 30 minutes.  This spin bike is incredibly sturdy and solid for the price.  It works very quietly – you can workout in the same room as someone else watching TV or reading for example.  The bike is adjustable – my 12 year old son who’s around 5ft 2” tall is also able to use it by lowering the seat and handlebars.  You get a water bottle holder but there are no other frills.  However you could use a phone/tablet and pair it with a cadence or speed sensor if that’s important to you.  I bought some dual-sided SPD/cage pedals which were easy to install instead of the standard pedals this bike comes with.  I would definitely recommend this spin bike to anyone looking for a solid bike who doesn’t want to spend a lot of money.”
