Being the higher-end bike, the Schwinn MY17 170 is constructed for more heavy-duty use and as such has some premium features over the MY16 130, including an upgraded crank system (3-piece compared to 1-piece) and over-sized pedals compared to standard pedals.

Both of the Schwinn upright bikes feature angle adjustable handlebars, but the Schwinn MY17 170 also features forearm rests for added comfort.

The seat on both bikes is contoured and padded for comfort with an easy seat-exchange system.  Both seats are adjustable up/down for different user heights, but the Schwinn MY17 170 has the advantage of also being adjustable fore/aft for a more custom fit.

The Schwinn MY16 130 and Schwinn MY17 170 exercise bikes come with an updated console compared to the older 2013 models and has been designed to be more user friendly, while still retaining all the high-end features.  Both consoles feature Dual Track LCD displays but the Schwinn MY17 170 has the advantage of being blue-backlit for better viewing and has the addition of Bluetooth connectivity which the Schwinn 130 and older models do not have.
