Comparing Confidence GTR Power Pro versus Confidence Power Plus Motorized Electric Treadmill, What's the Difference?

Get fit in the comfort of your own home with the Confidence GTR Power Pro or Confidence Power Plus Motorized Electric Treadmill.

The Confidence GTR Power Pro and Power Plus are good entry-level low-priced electric-powered treadmills designed with a folding deck to save space when not in use and for easy storage.

The Confidence GTR Power Pro is the higher-end model over the Confidence Power Plus treadmill, with a more powerful motor, higher top speed, larger running deck, adjustable incline and additional features.

The Confidence Power Plus treadmill is a more basic model.  It utilizes a 600 watt (0.8 hp) motor with top speeds of up to 10 km per hour (6.2 mph).  The Confidence GTR Power Pro treadmill utilizes a more powerful 1.5 hp motor (1118 watt) with top speeds of up to 12 km per hour (7.5 mph).

The running deck on each of these treadmills also differs, with the Confidence GTR Power Pro having a slightly larger runway at 43.5” x 15.75” compared to the Confidence Power Plus’ smaller runway at 38.5” x 14”.

Generally speaking, treadmills with a less powerful motor and smaller runway are more suited to smaller people and lighter use overall (walking, light jogging).

Being the more basic model, the Confidence Power Plus treadmill does not have any incline levels or workout programs.  The Confidence GTR Power Pro has 3 adjustable manual incline levels and 12 built-in fitness programs to add variety to your workouts.

Both treadmills come with an LED monitor that displays motivating workout stats as you exercise, including time, distance, speed and calories.

The Confidence GTR Power Pro’s console however is more advanced and also displays your pulse heart-rate which is monitored via built-in sensors in the treadmill’s handlebars – a feature that the Confidence Power Plus does not have.  (You can also change the speed via the Confidence GTR Power Pro’s handrail controls.)

Both the Confidence GTR Power Pro and Confidence Power Plus treadmills offer a maximum user weight capacity of 250 lbs.

See what other customers who have bought either the Confidence GTR Power Pro or Confidence Power Plus Motorized Electric Treadmill have to say about it:

A.M.:
“I’ve been using the Confidence GTR Power Pro for a couple of months and so far it’s great!  I find it to be a bit loud but have got used to it.  I’m pleasantly surprised at how well this treadmill performs.  It was easy to assemble and I put it together myself in around 1 hour.  It’s much lighter than traditional treadmills which makes it really easy to store away.  I only use it for walking so can’t comment on how it would perform jogging/running.  I would recommend this to anyone looking for a treadmill that works and doesn’t cost a lot of money.”

H.U.:
“So far I’m impressed with the Confidence GTR Power Pro budget treadmill.  I use this as a cheap treadmill desk so I never go faster than around 4 mph.  I attached a SurfShelf to it for my keyboard and put a monitor up on the wall in front of it.  This helps me to get some walking in while I write emails, take conference calls etc.  This was straightforward to put together, is light enough for most people to put away and folds up to fit in a closet.  A few negatives:  there’s a bit of noise from the belt occasionally; the deck might be too short for your gait if you’re tall (I’m 5ft 4” and it’s great for me); it feels cheap at faster speeds so don’t think this treadmill is right for runners.”

A.F.:
“The Confidence Power Plus is a good treadmill to put in the living room or bedroom.  I love it!”

A.C.:
“I love the size of the Confidence Power Plus treadmill.  I wanted a small treadmill to put in my office and I really like that this came in white.  It’s not designed for heavy use but I’m planning to use it to walk leisurely while I take conference calls so it’s ideal for me.”
