Offering over 30 strength training exercises, the Marcy MWM-990 Home Gym helps to effectively burn calories by increasing your metabolic rate, tone the entire body and increase lean muscle mass.
The Marcy MWM 990 Home Gym is designed with multi-position high and low pulleys and cables that are connected to a 150 lb adjustable selectorized weight stacking system that offers smooth and controlled body exercises without the need to load and unload weight plates.
This system is much safer to use than traditional free weight exercises because the weights are stored behind a protective weight stack instead of suspended over your body. The pulley system allows for maximum weight resistance of 200 lbs depending on what type of exercises you perform (see chart below for more details).
The Marcy MWM 990 Home Gym incorporates a host of features including dual-functioning independent motion press arms, padded press arm, upper pulley, overhead lat station, dual-function leg developer, adjustable preacher curl pad (removable), and weight stack lock.
The Marcy MWM-990’s dual action Press Arms allow for chest press and vertical butterfly exercises. The padded press arm feature oversized foam roller pads to add comfort while performing chest and pec exercises.
The Marcy MWM-990’s upper pulley targets your core while performing ab crunches and you can control the resistance by adjusting the selectorized weight stack. The high and low pulleys allow for both upper and lower body exercises.
The Marcy MWM-990’s overhead lat station helps to work the back while the adjustable preacher curl pad helps to tone your abs and triceps.
The Marcy MWM-990’s dual function Leg Developer works your lower body muscles and features foam roller pads for added comfort. It’s designed to properly align the knee joints for effective leg extensions and leg curls.
The Marcy MWM-990 Home Gym is solidly constructed with a steel weight stack enclosure with 150 lb selectorized weight stack.

See what other customers who have bought the Marcy MWM-990 150 lb Stack Home Gym have to say about it:
W.F.:
“The Marcy MWM-990 Home Gym arrived in 3 boxes with the weights separated into 2x 75 lb boxes and the rest of the machine in another box. Assembly is not hard if you follow the pictures carefully. Best to split all the parts out into separate areas corresponding to each page of the instructions to avoid confusion for assembling. I used an allen key and wrench for the majority of the assembly. The machine itself is well-made and very sturdy. My 16 year old and me are having a ball using it. Enjoy!”
A.C.:
“The Marcy MWM-990 is a decent home gym for the price. It took me and my son around 3 ½ hours to assemble it. I’m 5ft 10” and 185# and this home gym works perfectly for me, allowing for a full range of motion. I think it might be a bit small for larger people though. Just a quick word of advice on assembly: ensure that the pipes holding the weights have the hoses facing the bench as otherwise the weights will rub if twisted to the side.”
N.B. It’s always advisable to consult your doctor or health care provider before undertaking any new exercise regime.
