Summary:
The Octane Fitness xR6xi and xR6x Recumbent Ellipticals are extremely well-built machines that will stand the test of time and operate super smoothly and quietly. Being low-impact, these types of machines enable you to workout without the jarring impact on your joints that typically comes with many other types of exercise, whilst still providing a very effective workout.
I don’t think you’ll be disappointed with either of these two machines. For many people, the xR6x would be more than adequate for your needs and would save you some hard-earned $$s. However, if you’re an experienced athlete looking for more of a challenge, then the xR6xi with its additional programs and SmartLink capability may be more suitable for you.
N.B. It’s advisable to consult your doctor or health care professional before undertaking any new exercise regime.
